Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience as a professional musician and university music professor, plus a decade of research and training in mindfulness, movement, and trauma recovery, my workshops and private coaching sessions are designed to help musicians access a felt sense of their innate capacity for expression, mastery, and resilience.

I believe in playing the long game. I’m not into quick fixes or dramatic breakthroughs – although sometimes they do happen! Instead, through various mindfulness and body-based practices, I focus on helping participants and clients experience small, incremental shifts that offer the possibility of significant transformation over time.

Sounds kind of serious, huh? It can be, but I am also a believer in the value of play for enhanced learning and self-regulation. I aim to foster a learning environment that is rigorous and reflective while at the same time providing lots of opportunities to unleash your inner goofball.
